Water Spouts!!

I was at work yesterday and I thought I saw a little funnel cloud over the lake at the airport. I continued to watch it and all of a sudden it started growing from the ground up. I grabbed my camera jumped in my truck and took off towards the lake. To my surprise I saw a huge water spout over the lake. I watched until it dissipated and went back to the airport. As I was walking in the FBO I turned around and saw another one. I jumped in the truck and headed back to the lake to get some more shots. The second one was bigger than the first. I couldn't believe how big it got. I watched it dissipate went back to the FBO and called a friend that lives on the lake to see if he had seen them and he told me that there is another one forming as we speak. I jumped in the truck and went back for more. It was truly an awesome site to see three water spouts over Lake Okeechobee. I thought about God the entire time and thanked Him for such beauty and that they didn't touch ground and do harm. I hope you enjoy the pics.

P.R. Lifestyle!!

I went to Puerto Rico a few months ago and I never blogged any of the pictures I took. We went to go shoot a wedding but I was also on vacation at the time. So here are a few pics of what I saw. I will post more latter cause I have to go through so many of them. Here is a Pharmacy pic I thought was pretty cool, a coffee field and beans, and a picture of what the back of my house will look like when I get to that status of retirement.(from work of course)

More Than Yummy!

The other day I was on my way home from work and when I got to the end of my street I smelled something that was rather strong but obviously edible. I knew somebody was cooking something because of the distinct smell but at the same time I thought somebody burnt something. I smelled it all the way until I got to the house and forgot about it as I parked the car. As soon as I walked in the house the aroma smacked me in the nose and I thought, wow how in the world did this aroma travel from my house to the end of the street. Well sure enough my lovely wife was cooking up a storm. It amazes me how she always cooks something so simple but always turns out to taste like gourmet. Amazing. I had to take a pic of what she cooked. It was Tilapia with snow peas, asparagus, onions, in sesame oil and all her secret stuff. It was delicious! Thanks again Pretty.
